If you want something built to last, then this is the perfect solution. Our family has had this exact toy box for nearly 20 years. It has been through 6 kids and growing. I ordered this on July 30, 2009 it was shipped out on August 3, 2009 and we just got it on August 5, 2009. Pretty decent ordering and shipping, I didn’t request the 2 day ship and I liked how I could track my order once it shipped.
My son has been waiting for this toy box to go in his newly decorated Disney Cars room! When the FedEx truck pulled up he was jumping up and down and was helping me open the box. He was so excited he was putting toys in it the second I got it in his room, and was playing with his cars on the race track on the underneath part of the lid.
The toy box is made of plastic. The lid has a white plastic wheel rim and tire part of the lid has the logo “Good Year” and “made in USA” along with the Little Tikes 1-800 number. The lid is 2 1/2″ high and 20″ wide. The size of the box not including the lid are approximately 19″ high, 20″ wide and the opening is 15″.
No, it’s not a super huge toy box, that is something I really like about this toy box besides it goes great with his room. I have toy boxes out in my garage that I let him pick toys to swap to the smaller toy boxes in his room (this new tire toy box and a LT foot ball toy box) so I don’t have a ton of toys laying around or having to help him clean up.
